EX-agitators Leaders Forum Endorses Tinubu For Second Term, Backs Otuaro, Tantita Security

The Niger Delta Ex-Agitators Progressive Leaders Forum, has formally endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for second term in office, citing his bold economic reforms and strategic policies direction as the foundation for Nigeria’s long- term economic growth and also pledging unwavering support for his administration commitment to stability and development of the region.

 

This landmark declaration took place in yenagoa, Bayelsa state capital, where leaders, grassroots mobilizers and coordinators gathered in a strategic meeting to endorse Mr. President.

 

The group said, the endorsement was a turning point and signal to the fact that ex-agitators are happy, particularly with the prevailing peace and the economic opportunities available for ex-agitators and host communities in the region.

 

In the same vein, the group also backed the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme PAP, Dr. Dennis Burutu Otuaro, for his foresight and leadership qualities in repositing the Amnesty programme inline with its core objectives.

 

The group highlighted the key achievements of Otuaro to include the integration of more beneficiaries, award of scholarship to delegates within and outside the country, and the introduction of structured leadership training initiatives for peace building are worthy.

 

They group further recommended Tantita Security Services, as the best in handling the pipeline surveillance contract in the region, and asked for the consideration to carry along more stakeholders to ensure lasting peace in the region.

 

While speaking at the event, former National Chairman of Third Phase, Gen. Julius Joseph, aka, Adaka 111, expressed delight to all leaders and delegates who find time to grace the epoch- making ceremony of the endorsement of Mr President.

 

He called for sustained peace and stability in the Niger Delta, and commended Tantita Security Services for the good work they are doing in the region.

 

According to the former National Leader of Third Phase, ” we can do much more together through purposeful and people -centered approach in achieving our goals’.

 

Also, addressing the delegates, Street Coordinator of Presidential Amnesty Programme and Chairman of Third Phase, Bayelsa State Chapter, Comrade Stanley Abiri, alias Faceless’, described, Otuaro as a visionary leader that has brought fundamental changes to the Amnesty programme.

 

According to him, the tirelessly efforts and leadership strides of the Administrator of Presidential Amnesty Programme PAP, Dr.Otuaro, since assumption of office has been driving policies that have benefits all delegates in the programme.

 

He described Otuaro, is a leader that is committed to integrity with clear focus to make impact in the programme.

 

The Amnesty Programme Street Coordinator, therefore, charged delegates to sustained the peace to attract more development to the region, and appeal to Otuaro to carry along the street boys in the scheme of things in the programme.

 

“We equally appeal to Tantita Security Services, headed by High Chief Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Topolo, to bring down the pipeline surveillance contract to the grassroots to benefit.”

 

The group expressed the believe that decentralising the pipeline security contracts is important for creating more job opportunities for youths in the region, adding that decentralisation would also promotes more better grassroots involvement, community participation, among other numerous benefits to stakeholders in the region.
